Looking for Dreams

by admin on Aug.31, 2009, under Thoughts on Then

The cold earth holds you close,
On your grave I throw a rose,
And alone in the snow I grieve,
The sight I can’t leave.

Upside down, this love is pouring out,
My tears flow enough to relieve a drought,
And I’m unable to see through the haze,
My heart I’ll never again raise.

I had two hands, to hold you,
If one was hacked off, just one would do.
I had two legs, you to walk with,
If one was broken, I would still live.
I had two ears to hear you rejoice,
If one died, I would still here your voice.
I had two eyes to gaze at your beauty,
If I lost one, one would still do that duty.

But to you my heart I gave,
And now its buried in your grave,
So life means nothing,
Theres no bluffing,
My hands are in my face,
My legs lie crossed in disgrace,
My ears here only my screams,
And my eyes are in crying, looking for dreams….
