Angels storm the citadel
The King is taken from his throne
Replaced by a heavenly angel
God looks away
Saved by grace no longer
Mercy covers only a multitude
The blood flows from the altar
But still salvation pervades
Has time gone to sleep
Crept into the shadow realm
Now children and demons weep
Holding on to the end together
